Cinema and the moth have one thing in common: an obsession with light. The festival follows the moth's life cycle in three practical stages: the paralysis of those who don't know what to do with their lives, the wrenching metamorphosis, and the flight that can bring lightness or prepare for a disastrous fall. Six outdoor events like moths drunk on light.
Second date!
Pre-evening: "Primo Motore," a roundtable discussion on the paralysis of Italian cinema with debuting directors.
PLOT: Johnny Marco is a movie star who lives adrift in the luxurious Chateau Marmont hotel, surrounded by alcohol, fast cars, and casual sex. A total and golden emptiness that is only shattered by the sudden arrival of his eleven-year-old daughter, Cleo.
