Consorzio Tutela Vini d'Acqui was founded in 1992 in Acqui Terme, Alto Monferrato, with the aim of controlling and regulating the growth of the Vini d'Acqui appellations (Brachetto d'Acqui or Acqui DOCG and Dolcetto d'Acqui DOC), to protect their territory of origin, producers and consumers.
