Luca Trevisi, known as LTJ Xperience, started his career as a Du and producer in the 1980s, becoming resident DJ at iconic Italian clubs such as Kinky in Bologna and Cap Creus in Imola. He was among the first Italian Dus to play House music and revive 1970s black music, jazz, and latin-bossa sounds, helping anticipate the Acid Jazz and Rare Groove movements.
After producing extensively for Irma Records, he focused on re-edits and reconstructions of vintage tracks in the beatdown/slo-mo scene, collaborating with international labels including Far Out Recordings, Sleazy Beats, and K7.
