Spin Society is a weekly event dedicated to the culture of vinyl and those who have always guarded its memory, prestige and vision. A format that focuses on record stores, collectors, selectors, and in general all those realities in Milan that continue to protect and transmit the physical, social and cultural value of the analog support par excellence.
Appointment with:
⟡ Doña Valentina
Doña Valentina is a record label founded in 2023 in Milan by two young Latin Americans, Ismael Condoii (EC) and Franko Garrido (PE). The name Doña Valentina was created in homage to Valentina Barrionuevo: owner of the club “La Peña Valentina” in the La Victoria district of Lima, frequented by numerous illustrious personalities. This venue became a meeting place for immigrants and marginalized people in the city, where they could attend performances and parties that broke with the conventional sounds disapproved of by Lima society at the time, but which are now highly appreciated for their artistic value. In this spirit, Doña Valentina Tapes was born as an experimental space to present music in its contemporary context. Our goal is to give visibility to emerging talents who are redefining the cultural landscape of the electronic scene, particularly those who are overlooked by the mainstream industry and deserve to have a platform for resonance.
