Combo welcomes back in Turin the Toy Tonics with Cody Currie, Stump Valley and Kapowsky.
⟡ Rare and unexpected italian disco and funky pop music from the 1970ies. Not the usual electronic Italodisco classics, but some organic sounding band-disco music from the time of 1976 - 82. Positive vibrations and high quality dance pop reworked for today’s advanced dancefloors.
Berlin based producer Cody Currie has made a lasting impression with diverse and dynamic output under his own name broadly within the house genre - he has tended to gravitate towards the 'deep' and disco-influenced side of the sound, using novel sampling methods and nostalgic synths and drums. With roots in Leytonstone, East London, Cody has carved out a distinctive space in the music industry that resonates with passion and originality. His artistry reflects a unique blend of retro disco licks, intricate keys, and pulsating beats that truly set him apart in the digital and vinyl worlds.
